Xenites are a breed unto themselves though they come from all over the world, all walks of life and all trades. Yet the common bond between us transends man-made boundaries, cultures and languages as we tend to become one unit. And as with any family, you will find that though we may squabble amongst ourselves once in awhile, by golly, don't you dare to run down the icons and show we admire or Xenites if you aren't one.

Ya know... I wrote those words above back around 1997 when I did one of my first renovations/redesigns to site site. The miraculous thing is that they are just as true today as they were then — even through the end of production of this incredible show and the "End Wars" as I call them to myself <G>. No matter how torn we are over the show ending, how good or bad we may have thought it, we remain Xenites to the end. Since the rerun rights were purchased by the Oxygen channel, it is my hope that the channel gets very wide distribution in a short period so that new Xenites can be born into the world.

One of the most obvious changes for me since the end of the show, is that alarm that goes off in my head about 3:30 PM CST every Saturday that tells me to announce that the kids have so many minutes to transfer their interests to the other television and get my tape into the VCR. Every Saturday I still panic until I remember I have them all on tape and all I really need to do is be there to watch. Another change is that I've taken to reading fan fiction with a vengence and have even gone so far as to create pages that host the favorite stories of mine and some of my friends. Please feel free to stop in and take a look at the library, but be warned! Fan fiction is extremely adicting!

Another addition to the site is Tributes to Xena Warrior Princess which I and some cohorts dreamed up one afternoon when we were suddenly struck with "Omigod — it's really ending! There won't be any new episodes in October!" Syndrome. It's a colaboration of six websites (this being one of them) that host tributes to the show — not tributes to Xena, not tributes to Gabrielle, but tributes to the show itself. Please — stop by, read the tributes that have been contributed, and send in your own.
