LHS Maumee Youth Center for Asperger's Disorder

LHS Maumee Youth Center for Asperger's Disorder is a twenty-bed residential treatment center with an affliliated school situated on 13 acres located south of Toledo in Henry County near Neapolis, Ohio. LHS Family and Youth Services has been serving family, children and youth since 1860. The Center is opening September 1. Referrals are being taken now.

Beginning September 1 2002, we will be working with children and youth who have Asperger's Disorder in a program specifically designed for such children and youth at a new campus location in northwest Ohio, the former Maumee Youth Camp. We are calling the site LHS Maumee Youth Center for Asperger's Disorder. Located on thirteen acres of wooded land south of Toledo, Ohio, in rural Henry County close to Neapolis, the new Center includes an on-grounds affiliated school featuring one-to-one aides as necessary. Referrals are presently being taken for this new program site. Pre-placement screening is presently ongoing.
