ASC - U.S. Mission and Goals The mission of the Asperger Syndrome Coalition of the United States (ASC-U.S.) is to enable individuals with AS and related disorders to realize their potential. Families, professionals and affected individuals work together on a national, regional and local level to: strengthen grassroots efforts that provide support and reliable information and bring people together to create a national voice, advocating for research, education and public awareness. Our Programs Include: hosting an award-winning website at www.asperger.org publishing an informative quarterly newsletter, The Source securing discounts for our members on conferences and publications of interest ongoing dialogue with a distinguished multidisciplinary Advisory Board contributing to policy discussions on a national scale providing outreach to professional associations providing technical assistance to local support groups sponsoring conferences and workshops
