Books and Videos

It's been my experience that when looking for items concerned with a specific subject, the best place to start is Amazon.com. To be honest, I don't always purchase from them - but I do begin there to find out what is out there and available in the world. Their descriptions are detailed and the reviews by the editors and customers are invaluable in my humble opinion. Heaven knows I've been frustrated more than once by buying a book that looked as though it would be what I needed from the promo description only to find it difficult to follow, not detailed enough, or just downright not what I needed.

I do buy from Amazon.com a good share of the time - as their records, my bank card (These guys are on a first name basis with my bank card LOL) and the boxes in my attic will atest. (I'm a horrible box horder and their boxes are great for sending stuff in <G>)

After I did my search(es) on Amazon.com, I searched for books at my local public library and our local community college library so that I could read them for myself before I purchased them but I came up with nothing at all. Weatherford College, however, is actually ordering a couple of them for me, which I thought was just wonderful of them to do.

I've attempted here to choose the titles about Asperger's that I have found on "reading lists" on some of the Asperger sites I have visited and have the best reviews over at Amazon.com.
